Local Law Enforcement
Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.
Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were vandalized, in some cases with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.
Law enforcement report they were contacted late on Wednesday, when a resident observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.
The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they reported.
Law enforcement then located numerous other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.
Swastikas are illegal in Germany under laws banning the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.
Law enforcement state initial examinations suggest the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.
"Currently there is no lead as to where it came from; investigators are not yet informed of any injuries in association with the incident," they added.
Local authorities announced they were trying "to resolve the case" and have requested to the residents for information.
An important representative stated the vandalism made him without words and needed to be addressed quickly.
"This act strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing attack in 2020," he stated on online, recalling the murder of nine individuals by a gunman aiming at residents of foreign heritage in February 2020.
