New information has come to light regarding the shocking passing of acclaimed film director Rob Reiner and photographer Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were found at their residence property on Sunday.

According to a report referencing a family associate, a massage therapist scheduled for an session first raised the alarm after failing to get inside the residence. The practitioner then reached out to the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who resides close by.

When she went into the house, Romy came upon her father's body. Accounts indicate she then left the home distraught, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. Nick Reiner was apprehended at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park, roughly 15 miles from the family home. He was scheduled to have a hearing on Tuesday, but his legal counsel, Alan Jackson, said his client had a medical issue and would be unable to attend until Wednesday at the earliest.
